Beginning July 1, 2008, I will assume a new position within the School of Nursing at the College of St. Scholastica--Chair of Graduate Nursing. I am fortunate to be able to continue to teach (50%) as well as administrate (50%) in this new position.
In June, a group of five faculty from the School of Nursing attended the Institute for Academic Innovation in order to develop a plan for further integration of the the academic electronic health record (AEHR) into curricula at all levels within the School. It is our hope to further the work started by the ATHENS project as well as to present and publish the work we have done so far.
I am looking forward to attending the International MERLOT On Line learning conference in Mpls this August and will present on the integration of emerging technologies into graduate nursing orientation. Stay tuned for further developments!
